Pretty Good Racing League | Season 6 | Week 3
Premier Series | Darlington Raceway
In the Wrong Time Watch Darlington Dash, the Pretty Good Racing League (PGRL) featured the NASCAR Craftsman Trucks in an exhilarating set of dual 60-lap races at the iconic Darlington Raceway. The first race of the night witnessed Thomas George executing a daring short pit stop strategy. Opting to take only two tires, George made a late-race surge to claim the checkered flag, showcasing his tactical prowess in tire management and race strategy.
As the night transitioned to the second race, the challenging nature of Darlington Raceway, often referred to as “Too Tough To Tame,” became increasingly evident. Tempers flared, and drivers faced the demanding track with its treacherous reputation. The new format introduced in season 6 continued to deliver intense racing, characterized by frequent caution periods that added to the drama.
In the midst of this high-stakes competition, Colton Salek demonstrated his exceptional speed and skill, ultimately securing victory and taking home the second checkered flag of the evening.
Despite the fierce battles on the track, Johnathon Caddell maintained his lead in the PGRL point standings, now holding a 29-point advantage over Ryan Zima.
Looking ahead to week 4, scheduled for September 26th, the Pretty Good Racing League will converge at Auto Club Speedway. This time, the NASCAR Gen 4 stock cars will take center stage, promising another night of thrilling racing action. Fans can catch all the excitement as it unfolds live at 8:50 PM ET, exclusively on the Virtual Grip Network.
