Bootleg Racing League | Season 35 | Round 3
Outlaw Modified Series | Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway

On Friday, April 12th, the Bootleg Racing League’s Outlaw SK Modified Invitational Series roared into the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway for the highly anticipated third round of the season. Jeffery Hardin kicked off the night from the pole, setting the stage for an action-packed showdown as the sun set on Nashville.

As the green flag unfurled, Hardin surged ahead to seize the lead, while behind him, Joe Segalla and Lowell Jewell engaged in a fierce battle for the second spot. Segalla, determined to make his mark, challenged Jewell for position, but Jewell skillfully held his ground, utilizing the top line to secure his position.

Undeterred, Segalla launched another assault, this time on the high side, aiming to overtake Jewell. With superior momentum, Segalla succeeded in claiming the position, but not without a valiant fight from Jewell. Meanwhile, behind them, Ricky Hardin closed in, eager to capitalize on the battle unfolding ahead.

As the race progressed, the battle for second intensified, with Austin Boelke entering the fray, determined to assert his dominance. Boelke maneuvered his way past Jewell and set his sights on Segalla, relentlessly pressuring him for position. Despite Segalla’s fierce defense, Boelke eventually prevailed, securing the second spot.

With mechanical issues sidelining Jeffery Hardin from the lead, Boelke seized the opportunity, sliding into the top position. Ricky Hardin, hot on his heels, relentlessly pursued Boelke, hoping to capitalize on any opportunity to snatch the lead.

In the closing laps, the tension mounted as Ricky Hardin closed in on Boelke’s rear bumper, applying relentless pressure in a bid to force a mistake. However, Boelke remained composed under the intense scrutiny, skillfully navigating the track to secure the checkered flag. With a quiet 7th place finish, Jason Menda maintained his lead in the point standings, edging ahead of Ricky Hardin by a narrow margin.

The excitement continues as the Outlaw SK Modified Invitational Series heads to Slinger Speedway for the next round of exhilarating action on April 19th. Don’t miss a moment of the thrilling racing, live exclusively on the Virtual Grip Network at 8:55 PM ET!
