BRL OUTLAWS S38 R4 Recap
25 January 2025
Bootleg Racing League | Season 38 | Round 4
Outlaw Modified Series | Langley Speedway
On Saturday, January 25th, the Bootleg Racing League’s Outlaw SK Modified Invitational Series brought its fourth round of Season 38 to Langley Speedway. Entering the night, Donny Moore held an 8-point advantage in the standings over Aiden Young, but Young would leave with the upper hand after an impressive drive to victory.
Tre Blohm started on pole with Brennan Myers alongside him. The race began with immediate drama when Aiden Young attempted to clear around the outside of Chris Haizlip on the opening lap, leading to contact that sent Haizlip sideways in front of the oncoming field. That incident set the tone for a caution-filled night, with drivers making bold and aggressive moves to navigate the tight Langley track.
Blohm maintained the lead through the early stages, but by lap 31, Young had reeled him in. With a decisive move through turns 3 and 4, Young took control of the race lead and never looked back. Once out front, he showcased his speed, steadily keeping a gap over James Lowe, who had climbed into second.
Behind the leaders, Ruben Altice used the numerous restarts to work his way forward, moving into the second position on lap 69 after an inside pass on Lowe. Jason Menda followed suit, taking third from Lowe and later overtaking Altice for second. Menda pushed hard to challenge Young in the closing laps but could not match Young’s pace.
In the end, Aiden Young crossed the line unchallenged, delivering a commanding performance to claim the win. With his victory, Young overtook Moore in the standings, now holding a 4-point lead heading into the next round.
The action continues on Saturday, February 1st, as the series heads to Stafford Motor Speedway. Catch the live broadcast at 7:40 PM ET exclusively on the Virtual Grip Network!
