Red Light Racing’s Skitter Creek SK Modified Series drivers had an opportunity to regain bicep symmetry when the series visited Watkins Glen International on February 20, 2025.  The class of the field in turning both left AND right proved to be Eric Stout.  Stout continued the dominance he’s shown over the past two weeks, leading all 41 of the laps around The Glen.  Bradley Stefane held on to his second-place starting spot to finish second.  Luke Allen moved up one spot from fourth on the RaceDayCT.com grid to finish 3rd.  Rounding out the top 5 were AJ Hamel in 4th and Kenny Allen in 5th

Stout claimed the pole with a 1 minute, 12.916 second lap.  The rest of the top five in qualifying were Stefane (started 2nd, finished 2nd), Ken Allen (started 3rd, finished 5th), Luke Allen (started 4th, finished 3rd), and TJ Henson (started 5th, finished 16th).  Henson pitted from 3rd on lap 13 and retired from the race after completing 22 laps.

The race by rule was run caution free and with unlimited incident points.  With both Stout’s quick pace and the lack of cautions to gather a spread-out field back together, only the top five drivers finished on the lead lap.

The Clean Machines of the race were driven by Jeff Aho and Chad Alcares, both drivers finished the event without incident points.  Aho finished 6th, gaining 4 spots from his 10th place start.  Aho’s 4 position improvement made him the Hard Charger of the race as the driver that gained the most spots over the course of the event.  Alcares finished 7th maintaining his 7th place starting position.

With their strong performances, Stout and Stefane remain at the top of the championship point standings.  With the win, Stout’s lead grew to 32 points over Stefane.  Jeff Aho moved up to 3rd in the points, just one point ahead of Chad Alcares in 4th.  Rex Hoyle rounds out the top 5 in the championship standings.

The series returns to its normal short track schedule on February 27th.  The green flag will wave over USA Speedway at 7:55 PM Eastern.  Catch all of the action LIVE on the Virtual Grip Network.
