BRL Late Model Invitational S30R07 | The Bullring at Las Vegas

In an exhilarating Season 30 Round 07 at the Bullring, John Wilson and Tom Hilbert kicked off the race from the front row. Wilson swiftly took the lead, allowing Jeffery Kemper to dive inside Hilbert and challenge for second place, which he successfully secured. However, Hilbert fought back valiantly but overextended himself, opening the door for Kurt Smith to claim third place.

By Lap 19, Kurt Smith executed a smooth pass on Kemper for second, while James Lowe, sitting in fourth, also eyed the leaders. Tre Blohm capitalized on the moment and surged past Lowe to take third. Lap 22 saw Blohm continue his climb by snatching second from Smith. Lowe closely followed suit, making his way around Smith for third place.

Meanwhile, Wilson managed to build a comfortable 2.5-second lead. After a solid 43 laps, Blohm made his move, diving inside of Wilson on the backstretch on Lap 44 to take the lead, with Lowe slipping into second, relegating Wilson to third. The race saw its first caution on Lap 49 after 48 consecutive laps of green flag racing.

Racing resumed on Lap 53 with Blohm and Lowe leading the charge. Blohm had a strong restart, allowing him to re-establish his lead while Lowe settled into second, but another caution was thrown immediately after.

The race resumed once again on Lap 58 with the same front row. Blohm accelerated off the restart, and Lowe quickly cleared himself for second. Meanwhile, Chris Davis was engaged in a tight battle with Wilson, ultimately succeeding in taking third after a slip from Wilson in Turns 3 and 4.

As the laps ticked by, Lowe challenged Blohm for the lead on Lap 64, but Blohm quickly reclaimed it on Lap 68. Davis began applying pressure on Lowe and eventually made his decisive pass on Lap 80. With 16 laps remaining, Davis set his sights on Blohm, moving to the inside in Turn 3 and taking the lead on the backstretch with just 14 laps to go.

Lowe soon caught up to Blohm, setting up a fierce battle for second place before the caution came out on Lap 88. Racing resumed with just 8 laps left, with Davis and Blohm in front. Davis seized a massive restart, and while Blohm struggled, Lowe seized the opportunity to pass him for second, leaving Blohm in third.

Chris Davis ultimately clinched victory in Season 30 Round 07, finishing first, followed by James Lowe in second and Tre Blohm in third. The next race for Season 30 Round 08 is set to take place at Southern National Speedway on Saturday, May 17th at 9:10pm ET.
