The fifth round of Season 30 unfolded at Stafford Motor Speedway with an exhilarating battle for the lead. John Wilson and Ed Sprenger lined up front as the race kicked off, with Wilson making a powerful start to take the lead while Sprenger secured second place. As the green flag waved again on Lap 7, Wilson and Sprenger surged ahead, with Wilson maintaining a solid advantage by the time they entered Turn 1. Sprenger comfortably held onto second, while Tom Hilbert trailed closely behind. On Lap 11, Jeffery Hardin managed to pull off a pass to move into third, but another caution halted the action on Lap 20.
Racing resumed on Lap 24, with Wilson again demonstrating his strength on the restart, allowing him to regain the lead and Sprenger to nestle into second. Hardin fought hard to reclaim third from Hilbert, leading to another caution on Lap 25.
By Lap 29, the tension was palpable as Wilson and Sprenger continued to dominate. Wilson employed a slightly delayed start strategy, which paid off by allowing him to sprint into the lead. Meanwhile, Hardin and Hilbert vied for third, with Bruce Pearson side by side with Hilbert, but Pearson ultimately took fourth place.
The race heated up on Lap 39 when Hardin attempted to pass Sprenger on the inside, successfully capturing second place. Pearson then clashed with Sprenger in a fierce battle, but both drivers managed to keep it steady, with Pearson moving into third. By Lap 42, James Lowe joined the fray, working his way up to challenge Pearson and ultimately claiming third on Lap 43.
The top three drivers distanced themselves from the pack, racing with precision. On Lap 64, Lowe surged inside Hardin, taking over second place, just as another caution flag waved on Lap 65.
Restarting on Lap 70, Lowe and Wilson positioned themselves in front, with Wilson quickly establishing his lead. However, cautions continued to plague the race, interrupting the flow on Lap 71 and Lap 76, before action resumed again.
On Lap 80, Wilson and Lowe were back in their familiar spots at the front, and again Wilson’s restart skills shone through. The tension built as cautions kept reappearing, leading to a Green-White-Checker finish.
As the race came to a thrilling conclusion, the tension peaked with Wilson and Lowe battling side by side. They raced neck and neck through the final laps, with Lowe pulling ahead on the backstretch. In an exhilarating finish, Lowe claimed victory by a mere 0.058 seconds over Wilson, with Hardin finishing strong in third.

BRL Late Model Invitational S30R04 | Oxford Plains Speedway
The long-awaited Season 30 Round 04 racing at Oxford Plains Speedway kicked off with Tom Hilbert and Kurt Smith leading the pack to green. Hilbert claimed the lead right from the start, with Smith settling into second place while Steve Hilbert edged up to third. Todd Liston attempted to take the outside line, resulting in thrilling side-by-side racing until a caution flew on Lap 4.
Once the race resumed on Lap 9, T. Hilbert and Smith remained at the front. Hilbert surged ahead again, giving Liston an opportunity to challenge Smith for second; however, another caution halted the action. On Lap 14, as the race restarted, Hilbert continued his strong performance, but Smith managed to fend off Liston’s attempts at taking second.
The battles resumed on Lap 19, where Hilbert kept his lead with Smith trailing. After a strategic delay, Hilbert began again, allowing Smith to capitalize on his momentum and pass for the lead on Lap 23. Liston and James Lowe quickly joined the fray, pushing Hilbert to the outside.
Caution came out on Lap 39, but it was renewed excitement on Lap 43 when Smith and Liston took the lead once more. Lowe aggressively challenged Smith, leading to contact that brought out caution on Lap 45.
As racing resumed on Lap 50, Lowe surged forward, leaving Hilbert trailing, but John Wilson’s dive moved him into second place. Meanwhile, Tre Blohm aggressively fought with Wilson for position, capturing second by Lap 62.
By Lap 64, Lowe had pulled ahead with a notable lead of 1.6 seconds. However, with just three laps remaining, a decisive late-race caution erased Lowe’s 8.6-second advantage.
The final showdown for a Green-White-Checker restart featured Lowe and Blohm on the front row. Lowe maintained his composure, securing a remarkable start while Blohm fiercely contended for the inside line. In the final moments, Ruben Altice and Steve Hilbert battled it out for third, but Hilbert ultimately retained his position across the finish line.
In a thrilling conclusion, James Lowe clinched victory, marking his third consecutive win in the Late Model Invitational. Tre Blohm finished strong in second, with Steve Hilbert rounding out the top three.

BRL Late Model Invitational S30R03 | Five Flags Speedway
In Season 30 Round 03 at Five Flags Speedway, racing action was intense right from the start. Steve Hilbert and Mike Holloway led the front row, but Hilbert quickly took charge as he hit the gas, allowing Todd Liston to slip into second place while Holloway settled into third.
On Lap 2, Liston made a bold move inside Hilbert to seize the lead, with Holloway following closely behind, which reshuffled the front positions. By Lap 21, James Lowe had overtaken Hilbert for third, and by Lap 24, Lowe advanced to second place, passing Holloway. Bruce Pearson joined the podium by overtaking Holloway for third on Lap 25, all while the leader maintained a half-second lead as they reached the quarter mark of the race.
As the race progressed, John Wilson passed Pearson for third on Lap 36. A caution flag waved on Lap 47, halting the action. Once racing resumed on Lap 52, Liston and Lowe retained their front positions. Both drivers made strong starts, with Lowe successfully defending his second place against Wilson until another caution emerged on Lap 53.
Racing resumed once again on Lap 57, with Liston and Lowe leading the charge. Chris Davis moved to third by passing Wilson. On Lap 69, Mark Hertzog battled fiercely with Davis for the third spot, eventually succeeding.
The race took a pivotal turn on Lap 74 when Lowe moved to the inside of Liston to take the lead on the backstretch. Hertzog attempted to overtake Liston for second on Lap 79, racing side by side before finally making the pass on Lap 80. By Lap 91, Tre Blohm surged to third, overtaking Liston in turn 4.
On Lap 96, Blohm, aiming for second, pushed Hertzog hard but was unable to complete the pass until they hit the backstretch, where he finally succeeded. As the race neared its end, Lowe established a commanding three-second lead with just two laps to go.
Ultimately, James Lowe clinched victory, crossing the finish line in first place, followed by Tre Blohm in second and Mark Hertzog in third. It was an exciting race full of strategic moves and fierce competition!

The tension is palpable as the green flag drops and Hardin rockets off the line, snatching the lead right away. Ruben Altice is on the hunt, slipping beneath Lowe for a fierce battle over second place. John Wilson doesnโt sit idle either; he joins the fray and tussles with Lowe for third, while Lowe smartly tucks himself into fourth.
By Lap 6, Altice is applying pressure, peeking inside Hardin and eyeing the top spot, but canโt quite make a move just yet. On Lap 10, Altice makes his bold move, taking the lead from Hardin, with Wilson hot on his trail. Just as it looks like things are heating up, caution flies on Lap 13, with Hardin holding strong in second.
Once racing resumes on Lap 18, itโs Altice and Hardin once again leading the pack. Altice launches off the restart like a rocket, allowing Hardin to settle comfortably in secondโuntil lap 18โs caution as well puts their momentum on pause once again. When the action starts again on Lap 23, Altice proves his dominance with another stellar restart, while Wilson tries to squeeze under Hardin but canโt quite snag the position, holding onto third.
Meanwhile, the battle for sixth heats up as Kurt Smith gangs up against Joseph Snyder, but a caution at Lap 28 halts their showdown. When the race kicks back to life on Lap 33, itโs dรฉjร vu for Altice and Hardin, with Altice effortlessly commanding the lead yet again, and Wilson comfortably holding down third.
Fast forward to halfway through the race: Lowe fights his way past Wilson to claim third place, just as another caution comes out on Lap 63, keeping everyone on their toes. Racing resumes on Lap 68 with Altice holding strong and Hardin on the outside, flanked by Lowe. Lowe zips past into second, while Brennan Myers tries to sneak by Hardin, who skillfully shuts the doorโwhat a race!
The tension escalates on Lap 79 when Lowe challenges Altice, side by side in turns 1 and 2 on Lap 80, and snags the leadโonly for caution to be waved on Lap 81! Action picks back up on Lap 86 with Lowe and Myers at the forefront. Lowe nails the restart while Myers finds himself tussling with Todd Cousins; they battle fiercely, but a little contact leads to caution on Lap 88.
Racing once again kicks off on Lap 92 with Lowe and Smith leading the charge! Lowe defies gravity, launching ahead early and allowing Smith to slip into second, but the chaos comes crashing down during a massive pileup in turn 2 on Lap 93.
When the race resumes for the final laps on Lap 97, Lowe and Smith are back in control, with Lowe taking off like a rocket! But brace yourselvesโturn 4 is mayhem, and as the dust settles, Myers emerges as he steals third among the wreckage. In an exhilarating finish, James Lowe crosses the line in first place to take the victory for Season 30 Round 02 at Hickory, with Lowell Jewell and Brennan Myers rounding out the podium!

BRL Late Model Invitational S30R01 | Martinsville Speedway
The excitement of Season 30 of the Bootleg Racing Leagueโs Late Model Invitational ignited at the iconic Martinsville Speedway, setting the stage for an unforgettable showdown. As the green flag waved, the front row featured dynamic rivals Brennan Myers and Kurt Smith, both itching for victory. Myers bolted off to a solid start, but Smith swiftly challenged him from the outside. Just as the field settled, a caution flew before they completed the first lap, tightening the suspense from the get-go.
The race restarted on lap 6, and Smith launched magnificently, granting Myers just enough space to slot into second. However, the caution came out once more, halting the momentum. Back at it on Lap 11, Smith once again took off like a rocket. Myers valiantly defended his position, but Mike Holloway slipped past into second place, with Lowell Jewell close behind, clinching third. As caution waved again on Lap 13, the battle intensified with the field regrouping.
Restarting on Lap 18 with Smith leading and Holloway right on his tail, the thrill continued. Smithโs knack for great starts kept Holloway in tow while Jewell and Todd Cousins fought for positions further back. Caution fell on Lap 32, prompting another restart on Lap 36. Smith and Holloway resumed their duel, with Smith holding strong in the lead.
Lap after lap, the tension mounted, and after another caution on Lap 43, they went green once more on Lap 47. Smith launched again, allowing Holloway to maintain second. As the laps wore on, the drivers engaged in fierce battles for positions, none more thrilling than the showdown between Jewell and Cousins.
On Lap 56, Smith was again commanding the track despite Hollowayโs best efforts to push inside. The action divided into an exhilarating showdown as Jewell advanced into second, only to have a massive pileup erupt on Lap 61, further complicating the race.
The stakes grew with each caution, leading to the intense Lap 65 restart where Smith and Jewell faced off anew. Schoen emerged as a fierce competitor, making his move into second by Lap 70 and ultimately seizing the lead after some riveting wheel-to-wheel racing with Smith.
As the laps dwindled, a late caution fell on Lap 83, followed by a late-race tussle with Schoen, Jewell, and Smith battling for supremacy. Tension gripped the spectators as Lap 97 saw Smith and Menda exchange contact, bringing out yet another caution, setting up a thrilling Green-White-Checker finish.
With the lights blazing, Schoen jumped ahead when the race resumed on Lap 101. Jewell secured a clean second, leaving Smith to fend off a spirited challenge from Myers. In the thrilling conclusion, it was Adam Schoen who crossed the finish line first, claiming victory, with Lowell Jewell hot on his heels in second. The fans erupted, knowing they had witnessed a race for the ages!

As the engines revved up for the grand finale of the season, Aiden Young was in the driverโs seat, leading the points race against James Lowe, who was hot on his heels in second place. Lowe knew he had to clinch a victory while hoping for a misstep from Young to snag the championship title. The tension was palpable as the front row, featuring Scott Negus and Lowell Jewell, prepared to drop the green flag for Season 29 Round 11 at New Smyrna.
When the race kicked off, Negus launched into a blistering start, while Tre Blohm attempted to sneak past Jewell on the inside. However, Jewell maintained his position in second, leaving Blohm to hold onto third. Meanwhile, John Wilson was putting on a show, challenging Young for fourth place, eventually making a successful move inside.
By Lap 8, the field was tight and single-file, with the exception of Lowe, who was on a mission, picking off cars one by one as he climbed up the ranks. An intense moment came on Lap 10 when Brennan Myers and Todd Liston had a brief spill in contact, but they quickly regained control, avoiding a caution.
Lowe made his move on Young around Lap 20, taking over fourth as he continued his relentless pursuit of the championship. Negus had established a dominant 1.5-second lead by the race’s quarter mark. Another chaotic situation unfolded on Lap 26, with several cars getting tangled, but again, no caution was thrown.
As the race progressed to Lap 27, Lowe executed a daring maneuver to overtake Blohm, with Ruben Altice and Adam Schoen riding the inside line to follow him past into fourth and fifth positions, relegating Blohm back to sixth.
The competition heated up on Lap 34 as Lowe and Altice both zipped by Jewell to take second and third, with Jewell losing ground to fourth. By halfway, Negus was still leading but Lowe was closing the gap, now about one second behind. The middle pack was showcasing some thrilling racing, with fierce battles for position, while the top five seemed fairly established.
On the final lap, Negus held a firm one second advantage over Lowe, and a commanding five seconds over Altice, locking in the finishing order for Season 29 Round 11. Aiden Young managed to finish in sixth place, but that was enough to secure the coveted Season 29 BRL Late Model Championship!

BRL Late Model Invitational S29R10 | South Boston Speedway
The excitement was palpable as Bruce Pearson and Chris Davis led the charge at South Boston Speedway for Season 29 Round 10! Pearson wasted no time, blazing ahead at the green, while Davis dove in behind him to snag 2nd place. However, just as the adrenaline peaked, a caution on the backstretch halted the action before the first lap could be completed and would be the nights only official caution.
When the race resumed on Lap 6, Pearson and Davis were back at it, with Pearson showing a strong start. Davis strategically tucked in front of Todd Liston, keeping his 2nd place spot secure as Liston settled into 3rd. By Lap 13, the atmosphere was electric, with Davis fiercely pursuing Pearson, setting himself up for a daring pass for the lead.
Lap 25 saw Davis catching a break; he found room, and the two raced side by side through the turns. Pearson held his ground, leading Lap 26, but Davis tapped into some serious momentum, finally claiming the lead on Lap 27!
As the race neared its halfway point on Lap 31, Liston made his move, challenging Pearson for the 2nd place and successfully passing him on the outside line. With Davis now boasting a two-second cushion over Liston, the battle for the top spots continued to intensify. Aiden Young, keen on breaking into the top three, took on Pearson, but despite several attempts, he struggled to break through Pearsonโs defenses.
Lap 68 brought a thrilling showdown as Young and Pearson went toe-to-toeโside by side, and even three wide with a lapped car in the mix! Tension soared as they made slight contact, yet Pearson found a burst of speed on the outside to reclaim his position. But the action didn’t stop there; James Lowe powered his way to 4th and began frightening Pearson on Lap 83. On Lap 84, Lowe found his opening, diving inside Pearson to secure 3rd.
Young wasn’t done yet, though. He took to the outside of Pearson on Lap 88, all while Lowe managed to sweep past Liston to claim 2nd. As the race entered its final laps, Davis showcased his dominance with an impressive five-second lead!
As the checkered flag waved, Chris Davis cruised to victory, finishing almost five seconds ahead of James Lowe, who claimed 2nd place with Todd Liston rounding out the podium in 3rd.
Looking ahead, all eyes will be on the Season 29 finale next week at New Smyrna Speedway on Saturday, March 15th, at 9:10pm ET. BRL Late Model Invitational S29R09 | Oswego Speedway
The high-octane action of Season 29 Round 09 kicked off with Chris Haizlip and Bruce Pearson leading the charge to the green flag! Haizlip shot out of the gate, but Pearson had to hold off a fierce dive from Todd Liston as they thundered into Turn 1, resulting in a nail-biting contact! Liston seized 2nd place, with Tre Blohm lurking just behind as he eyed Pearson for 3rd when a caution waved on Lap 2.
As the engines roared back to life on Lap 6, Haizlip and Liston resumed their battle at the front. Haizlip bolted ahead, but Blohm executed a daring inside maneuver on Liston, claiming 2nd. It didn’t take long for Blohm to challenge Haizlip; by Lap 6, he was alongside him through Turns 3 and 4, and on Lap 7, he snagged the lead! Liston soon followed suit, relegating Haizlip to 3rd, while Ed Sprenger seized 4th from Pearson. Another caution dampened the excitement briefly on Lap 9. Racing kicked back into gear on Lap 14 with Blohm and Liston at the helm once more. Blohm cleared the field and Liston settled into 2nd comfortably, but Haizlip was feeling the heat from Pearson! A quarter of the way through, the pack settled into mostly single-file racing, but occasional challenges kept the tension high.
By Lap 36, the battle intensified as Haizlip found himself under attack from Pearson on the outside while Adam Schoen joined the fray. But the outside line faltered, causing Pearson to fall back while Schoen held onto the 4th spot. On Lap 39, Schoen made a bold move inside Haizlip, claiming 3rd! Meanwhile, Blohm was cruising with over a second lead by Lap 41. Caution swept through again on Lap 49, but when action resumed on Lap 54, Blohm and Liston were right back at it! With Blohm pulling ahead, Liston settled in for 2nd. Schoen was holding down 3rd as Pearson clashed with Mike Holloway for 4th, with Pearson ultimately taking the victory in that duel. However, on Lap 58, Brennan Myers swooped in, making a stunning inside move on Pearson to snatch 4th for himself!
Speeding toward Lap 61, Schoen executed a thrilling maneuver going into Turn 1, overtaking Liston to claim 2nd! The drama continued on Lap 82, where Myers and Davis fought tooth and nail for 4th, with Myers completing the pass! But the excitement was cut short by a caution on Lap 88. When things restarted on Lap 93, Blohm and Schoen reignited the battle at the front. Blohm fired off the line like a rocket, but Schoen struggled to find traction on the outside, allowing Myers to push 3-wide into Turn 1, leading to an incredible pile-up on the frontstretch! The caution brought the race to a halt on Lap 93.
Once action resumed on Lap 98, it was Blohm and James Lowe vying for dominance. Blohm held strong, but Lowe kept the pressure on from the outside, inching closer with every lap. As the white flag waved on Lap 99, Lowe was at Blohmโs bumper heading into Turn 1. But Blohm found a burst of speed, pulling ahead down the backstretch. As they roared out of Turn 4, it was Blohm who triumphed, claiming victory in Season 29 Round 09 at Oswego Speedway! James Lowe crossed the line in a valiant 2nd place, and the current season points leader, Aiden Young, rounded out the top three in 3rd.

BRL Late Model Invitational S29R08 | Southern National Speedway
Get ready for a thrilling race as Ed Sprenger and Scott Negus lead the field to kick off Season 29 Round 08 at the iconic Southern National Speedway! As the green flag waved, Sprenger hit the loud pedal while Negus attempted a daring move on the outside. However, things got a bit dicey as Negus lost traction on the exit, settling back in line, and causing an early caution on Lap 2.
But donโt worry, the excitement resumed on Lap 7! Sprenger and Negus were back on it, with Sprenger making a phenomenal jump at the restart, forcing Negus to tuck in behind him. Meanwhile, Bruce Pearson was holding strong in 3rd, but Lowell Jewell was hot on his heels in 4th. The battle heated up as Jewell found an opening on Lap 16, diving inside of Pearson. Side by side they went for a nail-biting moment, but Jewell completed the pass, leaving Pearson to fend off John Heyn, who was gunning for 5th and successfully secured the position.
Lap 20 brought some drama, as Negus caught up with Sprenger. The tension escalated, and like a flash, Negus sped past Sprenger, taking the lead on Lap 21! Meanwhile, Heyn wasnโt done yet; he waged an epic battle against Pearson for 4th and emerged victorious by Lap 25! With a quarter of the race down, Negus and Sprenger had carved out a solid 1-second lead over Jewell in 3rd.
But hold on tight! A caution on Lap 34 had everyone on their toes. When racing resumed on Lap 40, Negus took off into the lead with Sprenger close behind. The crowd was buzzing with excitement as Jewell and Heyn went toe to toe for 3rd; Heyn tried to hold on outside, but Jewell showcased his dominance and slipped past.
As the action continued, Stephen Spies snagged 4th from Heyn, making his presence known. Spies then set his sights on Jewell, securing 3rd on Lap 47โwhat a move! James Lowe was not to be outdone, edging into the top 5 and battling Jewell furiously! Lowe made his way up to 2nd, overtaking Sprenger on Lap 61. Meanwhile, Spies was trying every trick in the book to pass Sprenger for 3rd, but Sprenger firmly shut the door on Lap 65.
The tension thickened with a caution on Lap 80, leading into a dramatic restart on Lap 88 with Negus and Lowe fighting for glory at the front. Negus took off again, while Lowe put up a solid fight from the outside, but a determined Adam Schoen hounded them in 3rd. As the race dwindled down, positions were fierce from 4th to 12th, creating a whirlwind of heart-pounding action!
In the end, Scott Negus crossed the finish line first, claiming victory, followed closely by the relentless James Lowe and the tenacious Adam Schoen!

The excitement was palpable as Season 29 Round 07 thundered to life at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway! Ed Sprenger and Bruce Pearson took the front row, with Sprenger swiftly clearing Pearson off the start. But not for long! Pearson showcased his skill on turns 3 and 4, making a daring pass to lead the first lap.
However, a caution on Lap 2 brought the action to a brief halt. Once the green flag waved again on Lap 5, it was an explosive restart with Pearson and Sprenger leading the pack. Pearson launched ahead, while Sprenger battled Chris Davis for second place, ultimately holding him off as Davis settled in third.
Davis wasnโt done yet, though! He fired his engines on Lap 9, looking to get past Sprenger but got a bit loose and had to regroup. He made another bold attempt on Lap 16, getting under Sprenger in turns 3 and 4, but Sprenger’s momentum on the outside kept him ahead. A bump on the backstretch later, Davis finally snagged second, with James Lowe sliding up to third.
The plot thickened on Lap 24 when Davis went for the lead, diving inside Pearson, finally taking control on Lap 25. Lowe followed suit, displacing Pearson to second, leaving the former leader to fight for his position. Davis and Lowe began to stretch their lead, creating a one-second gap over third-place Pearson by Lap 31.
Just as it looked like they might pull away for good, caution struck again on Lap 43. The stage was set for a thrilling restart! On Lap 48, Davis and Lowe were back in the front, with Davis exploding off the line but Lowe quickly slid into second. Aiden Young wasnโt far behind, plotting his attack into third.
Lap 51 saw Lowe and Davis go head-to-head, exchanging fierce positions down the backstretch, and Lowe ultimately took the lead on Lap 52. Yet, the action paused again with a caution on Lap 53, setting up for exciting intensity when they returned to racing on Lap 57.
When the green flag dropped once more, Lowe leapt ahead while Davis ducked in to secure second from Young. But Young wasnโt backing down, battling Davis on Lap 66 to reclaim his position. Caution resumed on Lap 79, setting the scene for yet another restart on Lap 83.
As the race progressed, Lowe and Young maintained control until another caution on Lap 88 halted their momentum. With heightened anticipation, the restart on Lap 93 kept Lowe and Young in a fierce duel at the front. Lowe continued to fend off Young’s advances but not without a challenge.
The final showdown arrived with a Green-White-Checker finish. As Lowe and Young led the charge, it seemed Young faltered just enough for Davis to find his moment alongside him. But a surge off turn 2 let Young reclaim second, while Davis and Liston fought for third at the line.
In the thrilling conclusion, James Lowe claimed victory in Season 29 Round 07, with Aiden Young finishing in a nail-biting second and Chris Davis securing third just at the finish line. What an incredible race!
