VGN Set to Close Doors in January

by Lowell Jewell

The Virtual Grip Network has announced to current league partners that they will be closing up shop at the end of the current contracted seasons.

“For various reasons, none involving your great leagues nor you and your admins, I have decided to close the doors at the Virtual Grip Network at the end of our current commitments. I hope this will allow you enough time to make other arrangements for your next seasons’ broadcasting needs.

Ryan and I and all of our commentators thoroughly enjoyed working with all of you! Over the last five years, we have witnessed some of the most exciting sim racing, thanks to you and your racers.

We wish you the best of luck in your future league endeavors. Thanks for being a part of the VGN lineup!

Our final broadcast will be the John VanVourellis Memorial 250 at Daytona on January 25th, 2027.”
